As part of our consular services, we provide passport and travel document services with the cooperation of the Maldives Immigration.
To apply for a Passport or Certificate of Identity (Temporary Travel Document)
PASSPORT
For passport renewal, submit application via the online portal; imuga.immigration.gov.mv
- Individuals can register at the IMUGA portal and submit the application form and required documents.
- Payment link will be provided by Maldives immigration once application is submitted.
- You may choose to collect the passport from the High Commission or any other collection point assigned by Maldives Immigration.

- Passport Application form (IM01)
- Form IM32 (for Maldivians Abroad)
- Soft copy of photo. As per the the Guidelines
- Valid ID card
- Expired passport
- Revenue stamp fee should be pasted in the form or should select online payment

CERTIFICATE OF IDENTITY (TEMPORARY TRAVEL DOCUMENT)
- Fill out the Certificate of Identity (CI) Application form.
- Submit all applicable documents specified in the CI Application Form. Contact us if you need any assistance.
